Festival Features Variety of Folk Music for All Ages
The Philadelphia Folk Festival, one of the country's oldest outdoor music events, is returning after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19. The festival, presented by the Philadelphia Folksong Society, will be held on August 16-18, 2023, at the Old Pool Farm in Harleysville, Pennsylvania.
The festival will feature a variety of folk music, from traditional to contemporary, with headliners including John Oates of Hall & Oates and Gangstagrass. In-person ticket options range from $8 per day for children ages 5-11 to $254 for a three-day pass.
The Philadelphia Folk Festival has been a staple of the region's music scene since its inception in 1962. The festival has hosted a wide range of artists over the years, including Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, and Peter, Paul and Mary.
