Alcaraz Triumphs in Four Sets
In a thrilling match on Centre Court, Carlos Alcaraz defeated Matteo Berrettini in four sets to reach the Wimbledon quarter-finals. The young Spaniard, who is seeded second at this year's tournament, won 6-2, 7-6(3), 4-6, 6-2 in a match that lasted over three hours.
The victory is Alcaraz's third in a Grand Slam tournament, after winning the US Open and French Open in 2022. He is now the youngest player to reach the quarter-finals at Wimbledon since 2015, when Novak Djokovic achieved the feat.
