BTS Members Officially Begin Military Service

RM and V Enter the South Korean Army

Enlisted on December 11, 2023, and expected to return in June 2025, Jimin has joined the ranks of BTS members who have officially entered the South Korean army. This Monday, December 11, 2023, BTS members Kim Namjoon aka RM and Kim Taehyung aka V officially entered and began their mandatory military service.

BTS leader RM and member V officially began military service on Monday, December 11. Earlier this week it was announced that BTS members RM, real name Kim Namjoon, and V, Kim Taehyung, had received their draft notices and would be enlisting in the army.
